JIMMY STURR AND HIS ORCHESTRA made their annual December visit to Bennett Studios for another session for what will be their as-of-yet untitled CD.
Recording was handled by Dave Kowalski at the NEVE VR. Joe Donofrio produced the session. Last year's album, COME SHARE THE WINE, recorded here of course, won the Grammy for Best Polka Album. JIMMY STURR AND HIS ORCHESTRA have over 106 recordings; the excellence of these recordings has been recognized and rewarded throughout the very competitive music industry.

Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI) has awarded JIMMY STURR & HIS ORCHESRA its most valued award, the “Commendation of Excellence”. The only one ever awarded in the polka field.
